Urban Mobility
Koumori Dojo trains students in a variety of urban mobility techniques. The first, and primary set of techniques are derived from the practice of Parkour, using a special, proprietary obstacle facility designed specifically for Koumori Dojo. Demonstration techniques are not taught, with the focus instead being on injury-obviation and mobility in the urban environments. Parkour is taught four days per week.
Second-year students begin switching off Parkour with defensive driving training, based first around the light motorcycle, and expanding to cars, light trucks, and tractor-trailers in the third year. All students of Koumori Dojo graduate with Class A & M licenses, and have at least some defensive experience in all such vehicles.
